The Abu Dhabi Chess and Mind Sports Club has announced the hosting of the UAE Rapid Chess Championship for juniors, men, and women on April 11 and 12. The club revealed in a statement that over 150 players, representing 18 clubs, will participate. Starting April 11, competitions for juniors under 16 will begin in separate male and female categories. The best players in the age groups of 10, 12, and 14 years will also be selected. The following day, April 12, will feature rapid chess competitions for men and women. The club also confirmed that the 38th edition of the Abu Dhabi Amateur Championship will be held from April 24 to 26, an event that began in 2020.
